Delhi Public School Biratnagar has been facilitating parents and students offering both CBSE (Central Board of Examination) and Nepal Board. Delhi Public School Biratnagar is the only school in Nepal offering both the CBSE and Nepal board from Pre Nursery to class 12.

Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is a national level board of education in India. CBSE affiliated schools follow NCERT (National Council of Educational Research and Training) curriculum same is followed by DPS Biratnagar. CBSE conducts Board exam for class 10 and 12 every year in the month of March. Besides acting as Boards of schools, CBSE also conducts various National Level competition exams that ensures the admission and scholarship in undergraduate programs, Exams are based on curriculum prescribed i.e. NCERT. National level competition exams conducted by CBSE are: –
  1. JEE (Main)
  2. AIPMT (All India Pre- Medical Tests)
  3. National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET)
  4. Central Teacher Eligibility Test (For Teachers)
  5. Central Universities Common Entrance Test

Nepal Board run by DPS is as per the directives of Nepal Government. However school has customized the subjects and curriculum under the influence of Nepal Government without hampering the authoritative guidelines prescribed by Nepal government. Nepal Board curriculum designed by school except for the board classes are more emphasized on motivating students and inculcating the abstract values of life like Moral, Cultural and Spiritual. CBSE enrolled students are also emphasized with the motto of imbibing those values apart from curriculum. Nepal Board students appear for Board exams in class 10th, 11th and 12th conducted by National Examination Board (NEB) located in Sanothimi Bhaktapur.  Students of Standard 8 and 9 of Nepal Board have to appear in Board exam conducted by Municipality and Province respectively which is as per the guidelines of National Examination Board(NEB) Sanothimi, Bhaktapur.
